My name is Jasmine.
Most people would write in this “about me” page about their whole goal or reason for blogging.
Here is my story:
To be honest, I have no idea what I’m doing here. I’m not even exactly sure what the theme to my blog is.
Is it a fashion blog site?
Is it a makeup tutorial site?
Is it a cooking/ baking site?
Is it an art site?
If you couldn’t guess already, I am a newbie to the blogging world. An amateur if you will. I recently started this blog and I’m not sure where I am going with it ( or even how to use it!). That brings me back to what motivated me to start this blog. My whole life I have always been afraid to do things. When I say that, I mean I was afraid people would judge me, I was afraid to fail, and I was generally afraid to take chances. I am a freshman is college who is trying to find my role in society and myself. (So you can imagine how entranced I am about everything in life)
This past year I have changed tremendously. I honestly couldn’t tell you what exactly changed me, but it most likely has something to do with the idea called “growing up”. I have been waiting for happiness and excitement to come my way but I’ve realize that it won’t unless I do something about it. Being afraid held me back from doing incredible things and taking opportunities. I am taking charge of my life; I am unafraid to.
In this blog you’ll find different things that interest me between fashion, cooking, art and a few personal posts. I am not afraid to try things anymore. I am not afraid to take chances. As I try new things and try to find myself, this blog is dedicated to that documentation. I am going to record my thoughts along the way through this crazy adventure we call life.
This blog is also dedicated to challenging yourself and to be unafraid. I challenge everyone do something different and to take chances. Whether it be in your outfit choices, your choice in dinning or your choice in an everyday routine. I mostly want to make a blog that is a place to share ideas, to bring new perspectives on certain things, and to encourage open-minded thinking.
I hope you join me in this adventure of staying unafraid.
Thank you for taking the time to read,
(I also encourage you to read my first blog post in the “personal post” archive to get a better sense of my thoughts)
